ToVA (2025)
Total Video Advertising, or ToVA, is a tool for video advertising planning.
Agencies and advertisers today predict the impact of their video campaigns, both online and offline, with ToVA, the CIM's reference tool. Be inspired by their stories and discover how they use ToVA to make marketing decisions and media plans smarter, faster, and more effective.
New CIM Strategy
Building the New CIM (2023)
The CIM is undertaking a major transformation towards a more consumer-centric approach, with a strong focus on cross-media, digital, and data. To better measure new forms of content and advertising consumption, studies are being updated and the organization is being redesigned with a smaller board of directors, stronger strategic committees, and more room for innovation and collaboration. In the videos below, you'll discover CIM's new strategy, supplemented with insights from media, advertisers, and agencies on the future of the media measurement landscape.
Birthday debates (2021)
Over the past 50 years, the CIM has grown as a provider of 'Reach & Frequency' data for virtually all media. Both the media themselves and the communications sector were delighted with independent data for comparing media. Sales houses and media agencies found everything they needed for traditional media planning.
In the debate series 'Credibility In Media. WTF!', all stakeholders involved in the CIM will have the opportunity to share their opinions on its expected evolution.
New CIM OOH study (2017)
On 30 March 2017, the CIM lifted a corner of the veil on its new CIM OOH study. Thanks to a combination of mobility surveys based on self-reported data and big data on traffic, the weekly movements of the entire Belgian population aged 12 and over were modelled. On that occasion, the CIM published a video presenting the methodological innovations of this study.
